Changes are afoot at qathet Living. This is the final issue under the ownership of Isabelle Southcott’s Southcott Communications. The magazine remains 100% locally owned, though, with editor Pieta Woolley becoming the new owner. In this issue, we look back at Isabelle’s legacy. We also share the stories behind the tattoos that grace the skin of a handful of locals, including Matt Day’s harrowing experience, and the awakening that followed. Tla’amin hosted its first Nohom (potlatch) in many years, and this issue has photos from the event. Inland Lake trail is about to re-open now that the bridge has finally been replaced.
