The paper mill at what was formerly known as Powell River has changed its name to Catalyst Tiskwat to recognize the fact that when the mill was built over 100 years ago, it displaced a village at the mouth of the Powell River (Tiskwat in the language of Tla’amin.) qathet Living reporter Abby Francis looks at why these name changes are more than just a symbol.
